Jan 13, 2019 · PS4 won’t Connect to Wifi extender. So, in this case, if your PS4 won’t connect to wifi extender then you have to try using the WiFi extender as an alternative option. PS4 won’t connect to Optimum WiFi. In this case, you have to make sure that you get connected to the WiFi Connection and your Router must be fixed to a proper IP setting. Can’t connect to PlayStation Network Everytime I hit “X” or “options” to start playing I get a ‘cannot log in because “PlayStation Network” cannot be reached’ message. I know I have internet that’s connected to the PSN because I can play other games online just fine.
When I do a network test, my PS4 basically freezes, I can see the symbols changing in the upper right corner, but none of the buttons work anymore, the only way out of this is by holding the DS button and shutting down the PS4, which after a long time, is getting shut down with 3 short beeps.
